Letz Get The Look

Go traditional with Kunjal!!!

November 30, 2013

Hello people,

Primarily I want to thank you; I am getting good responses in such a little stretch. I have accomplished only a week and received more than 600 bibliophiles, hugs and chocolates to all my lovely readers.

It was my best friend’s wedding on 27th November 2013, and I decided to wear a sari. I hardly get such occasions to wear Indian outfits, but I wait to wear it. I choose to wear a sleeveless, bronze and black blouse with a pink and black sari. I added girly details like matching bangles and earnings. Like always, I stuck to minimal makeup but paying more attention to my cat eyes, making it look more appealing.

What to wear on weddings always puts us in a mix-up state of mind. But Ease yourself; here are few guidelines with encouraging pictures which might help you.

For Girls:

1. Such sari with stripes, block prints, statement prints, neon colors are in tend. Grab one of such sari’s for Day wedding.

2.Glitters – An elegant Gliiter Anarkali/ Chudidar / Sari is must in very girls wardrobe and perfect attire for an Indian weddings. Make sure the sequences or glitters in your dress are not loud or too flashy.

3. Fusion wear – Anarkali can be worn as a midi by experimenting with layers and cuts. Ask your tailor to attach a sheath on top of anarkali frock to create a Midi, Team it with churidaar to complete the look.

For Guys:

     1. A casual jodhpuri is my favourite. Jodhpuri suit looks great in a wedding reception. You can also try a jodhpuri pants with V-neck kurta and complete the look with Kolapuri chappals.

2. Desi waistcoat will give you a modern bent if you team it with a kurta and pajamas. Complete the look with colored co-ordinated chappals.
